We had a surprisingly long day finishing the West McDonnell ranges. We started with the Ormiston Pound walk - 3 hours of speccy scenery ending with a freezing cold crossing of water in the gorge! We then traveled back to Alice Springs via Glen Helen Gorge, Serpentine Gorge (with a walk up to the lookout), and Ellery Big Hole. We are staying in apartments, as Alice Springs is totally booked out - we understand mostly by South Australians avoiding Covid lockdown! We had a great farewell Korean dinner with the Ketters who head to Uluru in the morning. We've had a fab time together.
