Cooktown Bound

Its a very nice drive up to Cooktown. We stopped off at Black Mountain (with volcanic rocks), a nice wetland (with a croc but not many birds), the grassy hill that Cpt Cook climbed to see the reef, the Botanic Gardens (excellent)  and a walk on the coast past Finch Bay. Its an interesting place - but the weather is dodgy - overcast and windy.
