Another big day for walking (over 23,000 steps) today! It was very wet - very much 'shags on rocks' all afternoon. Also lots of tourists today, given where we went. But we pressed on and had a great tour. Started with a view from the rooftop terrace of Galleries Lafeyette and very impressed by the Art Deco dome. Then up via Sacre Cour to Montmartre which was very interesting and without the people would be really charming. After lunch caught a crammed metro train (wow so many people) and did a long walk around the Eiffel Tour and back to Saint Germain (via a few coffee stops). As the rain had stopped in the evening, the river was particularly fetching. Photos, again, in reverse sequence (I'll work on that).
