Weather was clear blue skies today. A little chilly in the morning but quite hot later on. A contrast the past few days which were a little bleak. As it was Sunday, there was a food market right outside Anthony's window in the morning, as well as markets at Place de Voges and Bastille that we visited. We walked through the Marais to the Bastille area and visited the Coulee Verte Rene Dumont which is a raised disused railway line with a heavily landscaped path along it - the model for the 'Highline' in NYC. The pastel housed Rue Cremieux was nice. We also visited the historic 'passages', which were underwhelming but for one with lots of green. The highlight was a Campari with olives at Le Train Bleu - the famous 1901 restaurant at the Gare de Lyon - spectacular. Coming back, the church Saint Eustache opposite Anthony had an organ recital on which was great to hear. Dinner was facing the street at a nice corner bistro in the Marais (light blue awning in photos). The final two night shots are very close to Anthony's apartment on the way back last night.
